Insight:
Social platforms claim to be open and fair — but for journalists in the Middle East, the algorithm tells a different story. Content about war, injustice, and occupation often gets flagged, shadowbanned, or removed entirely. The more accurate and urgent the reporting, the more invisible it becomes. The truth isn’t just dangerous — it’s being digitally erased.
Idea:
To beat the algorithm, we turned censored war images into typewritten art — using only letters. No visuals. No keywords. Just raw truth, line by line.
The AI saw harmless text. Humans saw the horrors the world tried to hide. Shared across platforms, these pieces spread uncensored, reaching millions without takedown.
A powerful reminder: you can block a photo, but not the truth.
